RE: SOP Testimonial

I wanted to write a brief note regarding Select Tech’s SOP’s. We had the privilege of having Mark Claypool come to our shop this past July. We had the pleasure of having Mark here for three days.

Our industry is changing every day and with the overcapacity of shops in the nation, we are faced with getting more efficient to stay competitive. We have been in business for over 50 years, but do not take that for granted in this market. We knew that to keep moving forward we needed to standardize our processes and identify what we are doing well and what we could do better. Mark did an excellent job assisting with this with his vast experience working in our industry for several years.

I would highly recommend using Select Tech to purchase and implement standard operating procedures. We purchased the legacy series which consisted of administrative, parts, disassembly/reassembly, damage analysis and shop vehicle steward. When Mark was at our shop we worked through editing and reviewing them to meet our shop culture and expectations. We also worked together on creating an insurance SOP which was incredible! We took each direct repair partner we have and highlighted them in an SOP. Now, each time there is a change in an agreement, etc. I edit very quickly. It’s very powerful and efficient. We are going to use this to train new estimators and keep our current staff up to date.
